Mission and Organization Summary The mission of Marshall Heights Community Development Organization, Inc. (MHCDO) is to help grow Ward 7 into the District of Columbia's most welcoming, prospering, livable community for everyone. Drawing on more than four decades of history engaging the Ward 7 community, MHCDO empowers residents to create economic opportunity. We connect working families with the skills and resources they need to build wealth, start and expand small businesses, buy and stay in their homes, and live healthy, productive lives. We do this by providing supportive housing, housing and credit counseling, real estate development, small business development, workforce development, and health and wellness services to neighborhood residents.
